AthLedger ("we," "us," "the Service") is a financial tracking tool that helps athletes and self-employed individuals record income and expenses, estimate taxes, and generate reports. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
AthLedger provides estimates and record-keeping tools only. Tax figures shown in the Service are approximations based on published federal brackets, simplified state rates, and standard assumptions that may not reflect your situation. Nothing in the Service constitutes tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified tax professional before filing or making financial decisions. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax filings.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. Notify us immediately at support@ath-ledger.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Optional bank synchronization is provided through Plaid Inc. By linking a financial account you grant AthLedger read-only access to transaction data via Plaid and agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. We never receive or store your bank credentials. You can unlink accounts at any time from the Linked Accounts page.
Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal in your profile; access continues until the end of the paid period and no partial refunds are issued unless required by law. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. Downgrading returns your account to the free plan without deleting your data.
You retain ownership of the financial data you enter or sync. You can export your transactions (CSV/PDF) or permanently delete your account and its data at any time from your profile. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other users' data, probing or disrupting our infrastructure, scraping at scale, uploading malicious content, or using the Service for unlawful activity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AthLedger's total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including tax penalties, missed deadlines, or losses resulting from reliance on estimates produced by the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
